What wonderful news! Thanks to a transformative initial gift of one million dollars to the CHU Dumont Foundation, offered by an anonymous donor whose bold vision is dedicated to advancing cancer research for the benefit of all New Brunswickers, the Atlantic Cancer Research Institute (ACRI) has now been able to acquire genetic sequencing equipment.

This equipment represents real hope for cancer patients and their families. Faster and more accurate diagnoses will allow treatments to begin earlier, while personalized therapies will improve the chances of success.

Our heartfelt thanks to our generous donor, as well as to the Province of New Brunswick and the Terry Fox Research Institute, for their invaluable collaboration on this groundbreaking project, which makes possible a total investment of $1,750,000 for this equipment.
