Yet another success for the Electrifying Night Run

Moncton, June 13, 2022—This past Friday took place the CHU Dumont Foundation’s Electrifying Night Run, presented by Dooly’s. The event was once again a remarkable success, raising over $30,500. The funds raised will mainly go towards improving the care offered to the patients of the Breast Health Centre at the Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre.

“The last two editions being held virtually, we are very happy with the engagement and the participation to this seventh edition of the Run. The community was present, and a wave of pink filled the streets. What a great show of solidarity for the cause,” says Nadine Martin, Executive Director of the CHU Dumont Foundation. “We could once again count on the generosity of our sponsors and partners, on the volunteers and participants, and of all who invested time and energy to allow us to make a difference in the lives of the Centre’s patients.”

More than 250 walkers and runners took part in this highly colourful event. The participants completed the five-kilometre course with a smile on their face under the cheers of the neighborhood.

The event’s main sponsor is pleased to be involved for the fourth year in a row. “Dooly’s is extremely proud to once again be the presenting sponsor of the Electrifying Night Run. So many people in our communities need the resources provided through this event and our Dooly’s family is no exception.  We are very grateful to all sponsors and participants for taking time out of their busy lives and doing their part to help those who need our support.”
